John Bates, head of acquisitions for Premier’s parent Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants said: “By adding a new hotel at Liverpool One we can be part of this exciting regeneration story and ensure that, as well as having hotels in the business centre (Vernon Street) and entertainment centre (Albert Dock), we will now also have one in the heart of the city’s retail centre.

Hard Days Night Hotel will be shut for 10 days as work is carried out to repair damage caused by a December basement flood. THE Beatles-themed hotel will remain closed until April 21 as work is done to repair its electrical systems which were damaged when a hotel pipe leaked on December 29 last year.
Guests had to be evacuated from the 110-bedroom four star luxury hotel for safety reasons as electricity technicians arrived to cut off the power supply. Hot water from the broken pipe poured into the basement of the Grade ll-listed building causing the damage. The hotel re-opened in time for its New Year's Eve party.
Hotel manager Mike Dewey said: We are really looking forward to getting the hotel back up and running after this temporary closure, just in time for the May bank holiday weekend which is always a busy time for us. "We'd like to thank everyone involved with the repairs both now and back in December, including the fire service who acted quickly and efficiently to prevent even more damage to the hotel."
